Dark Souls Remastered – Nintendo Switch Release date and more.

It’s a game we have been waiting for since it was announced and yesterday, finally, Bandai Namco actually gave us some good news.

Dark Souls Remastered will finally hit the Nintendo Switch on the 19th October this year. The delay that was announced back in April had us worried whether this game would come at all and with a speculative release date of “Summer 2018” we did think maybe our luck was running out.

More details about the game were also released yesterday, the game will run at 1080p in docked mode and 720p in Handheld. We are told the game is a steady 30 FPS also. We have high hopes for this game and we are looking forward to seeing how it runs on the home/hybrid console. Bandai Namco has stated they want to continue bringing games to Nintendo Switch so we hope this game delivers in terms of how it performs.

The Solaire of Astora amiibo will be released on the same day as the game and will allow you to use the Praise the Sun gesture right from the start.

We simply can’t wait for this game and look forward to featuring it later in the year.

I am a 35-year-old who loves all things Nintendo. I have loved the big N since I first got my NES at Christmas all those years ago. My favourite game series are Zelda, Bioshock and Mario games. Love my football and Liverpool are my team. I hope you like what we are putting together here.
